Video explains how Christians must be political otherwise they will be held accountable for their lack of action by God.

The Family Research Council put out a video telling christians that if they don't vote they're going to Hell!

5. There are two types of Jesus Christ followers
Christians : these are people that work towards helping others, try to live their lives in tolerance of others, care about others

christians : these people can only spew hate and loathing for others, care only about themselves, try to force others to live as they tell you to live, and have no concept of what Jesus Christ stood for.

The large capital letter Christians are hard to hear because they just go about their lives trying just to do good. They are the ones that you do not hear because their energy is used for good.

The small letter c christians are the ones you hear because they shout so loud to tell you what good christians they are. You never see them doing any good.

12. The small c christians are the ones who seem to be running this country
They're the ones that always get their way.

I'd at least like to hear the capital C Christians loudly denouncing the other kind.

13. There is an inherent problem with that
It is the same problem that I see within the difference in the political parties.

When you try to include everyone into the system you have to step back and listen to their views so at the very least you let them have their say. The Christians try to be tolerant of the christians. It is only after so long and so much do they speak up.

It is the same with the democrats, they have an agenda to try to make this a better country and include everyone into a better life. To do that you need to listen to the other side and see if their views warrant consideration. The party of inclusion.

The republican party and the christian right are parties of exclusion. If you do not agree with them then you are evil and do not care about anything. This why the republicans and the christian right find it so easy to hate and be intolerant because they are just one sided people. They do not care if they include anyone for they feel they are right (I wonder if this is why they are on the right) and to hell with anyone else's' rights.

3. And that notion makes them dangerous in the extreme.
Don't kid yourselves: The American fundies want a world every bit as oppressive as the one their worst middle-eastern counterparts have created.

4. Exactly, and highly dangerous. People get suckered into this stuff because IMO many
just follow along 'cause it's god stuff and must be OK.

8. As a Non Christian
I have been in many situations where people have tried to convert me from my original religion. I have been told I would be slaughtered at their end times, and that if I didn't believe all sorts of bad things would come my way.

Some religions will use threats, and fear to bring people into their fold. Some will use the method that you will be "rewarded" for choosing the correct path.

Buddhism does not go about trying to convert people. You are Buddhist, or you are not. The choice is yours. It does not come with threats of violence or eternal "damnation" in the after life. As for rewards...

Enlightenment is never awarded or rewarded. It just is.
