1. Good. There will be pictures and videos of them together
that'll make for good footage for Franken's ads.

Brilliant.

This guy can win.

And K'd and R'd.

5. I like the campaign colors
nice and sharp. Vikings colors too but I am sure that is just a coincidence.

6. This is what gives me a rare moment of optimism.
He might be the future of politics. He, and people like him, might be the future of our politics. If so, I might just have a sense of real optimism.

9. I love his line
referring to the folks who will come to Coleman's fundraiser to eat shrimp and have their picture taken with George W,

where he says "the only picture I have of the president is this one"

and then he shows that one of georgie and normie with their arms around each other!

Al Franken is great!

13. I liked the way Al Franken undressed Bill O'Reilly and made a fool
of him.

I liked the way George Galloway knocked Norm Coleman on his ass.

Al Franken will take Norm Coleman's job in the senate, no doubt about it!

14. Norm Needs to Go
Criticism

Some, including Al Franken and Senator Harry Reid criticized the Coleman campaign for politicizing the death of Paul Wellstone. Coleman made numerous television appearances in order to, according to Franken, take "every possible opportunity to show voters that he was not exploiting Wellstone's death for political gain."

16. NOW HE IS ONE OF BUSH'S PUPPETS IN THE WAR ON TERROR

"In college, Coleman was a liberal Democrat and was actively involved in the anti-war movement of the early 1970s."

17. He's good at this. REALLY good at this.
The Senate will only be a final destination if Franken wants it that way. He's got the tools to go higher.

He's really good at this.

18. Can he win?
When Franken first announced he was running, I kind-of dismissed it as a vanity run but it seems I was wrong (and I'm happy to have been wrong on this one). Does anyone know what his poll numbers are like? I mean, Franken's Jewish (let's not lie, it will matter to some), very liberal and kinda weird-looking so can he actually win?

19. Norm Coleman Weasel Meter - Orange Alert

http://www.mnblue.com/node/216

"Thanks to SACK at the Star Tribune for this summing it all up.

Keep track of the parsing, fence sitting, flip-flopping and outright lying of your favorite Republican Senator from Minnesota, Norm Coleman. Favorite to hate, that is. Norm the New York liberal who became a conservative. Norm the hippy who has consistently voted to support George Bush's War in Iraq. Where does Norm stand on any particular issue today? Stay tuned, his positions shift frequently. If there's something we've missed, please comment and we'll include it."
