During Meet the Press this morning, House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) cites a need for LESS regulation to jumpstart the economy, and (in the same breath) blames a "lack of enforcing existing regulations already on the books" (aka: Deregulation) for the meltdown on Wall Street and the oil disaster in the Gulf.

How is "not enforcing existing regulations" any different from "deregulation"?

So which is it? Do we INCREASE regulation and prevent catastrophes, or do decrease deregulation without regard for the consequences? You can't have it both ways, John.

2. Every time they promoted this week's MTP, they introduced Boner
as the person who may be the next House Speaker.

Like, they're setting the tone for the big power turnover in Congress this November.

It's that damned librul media at it again.

Boner's an embarassment to the State of Ohio. There's a billboard near Cincinnati showing him golfing, asking anyone when was was the last time they golfed 185 times in a year.

Between his golfing, drinking and the time spent in the tanning booth, when does he find time to perform his duties as a congressman? There are even colleagues in his own party who are complaining he shuts it down for the day by the afternoon.

11. Fact is
He is "never" sober. He is what is called a maintenance drinker, which means he drinks most of the day, but more after work. Nobody has really seen him sober!
