1. As long as the Pakistani ISI directs the Taliban in Afghanistan
and we give Pakistan billions a year, there will be NO change in conditions on the ground. The meat grinder will continue to produce profits for the MIC.

3. heh
I guess he doesn't like being mocked on TV. He's not used to it, that's for sure.

4. Thought we already won?
And what the hell is winning at this point, anyway?

7. Exactly!
The only time I've ever heard what a "WIN" would look like, it's been footnoted that such would hinge on no one in the world commiting so much as a threat of terrorism under the name of Al Quida. Totally stupid and ludicrously inane rhetoric. Answers aimed at the citizens they COUNT ON to not be capable of independent thinking.

Endanger the troops by pulling them out????? And.... day is night, white is black, up is down - all those known facts we take for granted. I think I'd be weighing HOW MANY troops are GOING TO die working towards making it safe for the rest to pull out!

What the hell should we expect Petraus to do? Set himself up for a legacy of "loser"??? Like Cenk said - COMMANDER IN CHIEF! That's ALL that has to be said.

8. This is the second or third time Cenk has chosen guests who disagree with him
Interesting and ballsy approach. I don't recall seeing any other host do this.

9. Right, let's throw another ten years of wasted lives into it.
We can't leave until every American forgets why we went over there. Like we did in Vietnam.

10. We are not winning anything
in Afghanistan and THAT should be the central point. It is a complete waste in every regard.
