I would only add that unfortunately what happens on Wall Street does directly effect Main St. They used pension funds and 401k's in their schemes but money markets were in grave danger and the dollar in danger of collapse. So they did have to save Wall St in order to save Main St in the beginning. All of our savings were in immediate danger of simply disappearing. That's because 63% of the GDP is owned by 6 banks. Use to be 17% 15 years ago.

But they did drop the ball in oversight. I still wonder why they thought these thugs would actually do the right thing. Trying to recover now may just be too late. I hope Senator Brown is right..but I think most Americans just don't involve themselves the way they should. Thanks for posting Joanne
