Salon.com's Glenn Greenwald speaks with Governor Howard Dean via Skype about his reactions to the proposal of the so-called "Ground Zero mosque" in lower Manhattan.

Does anyone else detect a problem with that statement?

A real shame because I always liked the guy and he's done a lot for the dem party but here he is stubbornly nonsensical and Greenwald is right in stating that /Dean is actually calling for a Muslim free zone here while all other religions are clearly present already.

I doubt we'll see many comments here because of Dean's popularity but here he is being as divisive, prejudice, racist and bigoted as the far right crazies. Would he be saying a word if it were a baptist community center or a YMCA going up here. He is saying Americans have a right to blame all of Islam for 9/11.

Or Jon Stewart's show said,...It's like people complaining about the Catholics building a cathedral right next to a children's playground

And is that Dean's house? It looks dirty and I think his wife or someone is in the background. He should do the next one in his underwear while eating a hot pocket.

Dean is farting out of his white ass. He's obviously unfamiliar with the context of the project or the players involved and is quite content with the stench of a gussied-up default white supremacist narrative.

Listening to him is like hearing a friend drop the n-bomb then trying to justify it. You EXPECT that crap from Laura but NOT from Dr. Dean. It's saddening...
