The GOP candidates want the US government to be involved in every pregnancy, even those of rapists, and make sure they result in live birth. Come on, Democrats, knock this out of the park.

1. I can't help but wonder if this is part of President Obama's plan
He realized early on the extremist strain in his opposition, and the actions he took that infuriated so many Democrats were simultaneously actions that truly brought out the extremist element in the Republican party.

Take Health care, he could have fought like the dickens to get something more pleasing to the left, but instead he allowed a weak bill to pass as a result of extended Republican madness that was the first part.

Then the birther thing, he never did anything to quash it. Instead he did exactly what someone would do to ensure it was kept alive - not for normal people, but the conspiracy nut types. He did just enough to ensure it infected more mainstream Republinuts.

There seems to be a method behind the madness that isn't tied to Republinut insanity, but purposeful manipulation by some very smart individuals.

NO I am NOT saying President Obama is behind them.

I am saying that recognizing their existence he realized their potential to basically cause an implosion in the opposition - if properly exploited.

Yeah I know it's a long shot out there notion that President Obama is so clever and smart that he is a mastermind setting up a scenario that could ultimately neuter his opposition, but who would have thought in 2006 that we'd have an African American president come 2008.

For all the complaining done about President Obama we sometimes forget that he is probably the most intelligent president ever elected.

5. I get what your saying...
I think the best thing that could have happened is to have all these people climb out of the woodwork and expose themselves. Yes, like turning on the lights and watching the roaches scurry, it's ugly. But these people have always been here, always been seething, and always were ready to be incited. Before they were able to keep their cover a little. Now, not so much. Now we see how much damage they've been doing all along.

Better to know exactly what you're fighting. Publicizing the crazy is a good thing. Hopefully it will motivate more dems and indys to get out there, and embarrass the more moderate repubs who have been sideswiped by their party.

2. Is Ben Quayle gay or does he just resemble his mother a lot?
Hope my post doesn't offend anyone. I'm just curious. Does anyone know?

4. I have no idea, but
I understand he writes porn. My big concern would be whether he can spell those words.

3. Kind of a shame Big Ed can't run again.
He's been a pretty good governor for our state, and I'm going to miss him.
