And poor Mike Gravel! Bill almost killed him with humor!

I mean...I don't want to diminish the good things that she did, but she lucked into a life that was one in a billion. The fact that she tried to do good things for sick kids doesn't necessarily entitle her to be the figurehead of a new religion. That was wonderful that she was photographed hugging AIDS patients at a time when most people still thought that mere contact would kill you, but she also lived most of her life, as Maher suggested, floating around semi-tropical seas in luxury yachts. It's too bad that she got saddled with a husband who dreamed of being a tampon (in somebody else), but we've all got heartache....

and Maher is always so damn funny. I can't stand it.

But- The Diana thing was way over the top, IMHO.

Diana was a very decent person, and a damn sight more caring
and humanitarian than any of the previous members of the House of Windsor.

She deserved much better- all around.
