1. The Republican Party
is nothing more than an ideological freak show. Why don't they just have John Boehner bite the head off a chicken.

2. What exactly does "white activism" look like?
Oh silly me, it looks like the modern GOP and its platform.

3. anyone who uses fear
as the basis for their decisions or is so bound up by it to the point of neurosis is not qualified to weigh in
on what is or isn't acceptable for my life. I'm sick of scared people thinking they are qualfiied to impact my life.

5. This is the "culture war" of the '90's taken to a frightening new level
The Right, realizing it has no actual policy ideas (except eliminating Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Benefits, etc), has decided to make this election cycle all about social issues, i.e. gays, abortion, religion, etc. And in doing so they've completely exposed themselves as extreme social fascists. Control people's lives not through government regulation, but through moral shame and fear. The Religious Right is back, and this time it's call the Tea Party.

6. Diluting Nazism
By calling people "Nazis" or by wearing uniforms or other similar behavior dilutes the meaning of these horrendous people and what they did. There are terms - fascist, authoritarian, etc. one can use if that's how you feel. Stop!

8. NEW?? The Republican Party has a very rich history running on "white ideology"
Nothing new about it. The Southern Strategy played out in various forms.

9. They're nihilists
And it is crazy. There is no coherent plan from any of them.

They're anti- everything, but unable to give specifics.

Almost to a person, they have questionable backgrounds about which they refuse comment.

They are, again to a person, filled with hate. They hate illegal immigrants. They hate legal immigrants who aren't white. They hate gay people. They definitely hate blacks. They hate Liberals and Democrats. They hate obamapelosireid, though I don't think their followers even know who obamapelosireid is. They deny global warming, when the evidence is right in front of them, when even their beloved military industrial complex is planning for just this development in the coming decades. They refuse to fund spending on government infrastructure as our existing infrastructure crumbles underneath us and as our western and Asian allies, and even our adversaries, strive for new technologies to address infrastructure development. They want to strip government funding for education and basic services, which will create, and perpetuate, a permanent uneducated underclass.

They are pathological liars and hypocrites who don't seem to understand that there is something called the internet, where recordings are available of what they say and how they contradict themselves, and they have no shame as their own lies are put to them on the air.

I'm reminded of the kid in high school who runs for class president on the platform of dismantling the student council.

These are nihilists - they may not realize it, because they are fundamentally quite stupid, but what they are advocating is anarchy. Every man for himself. No rules, no regulations -- No government.

We all thought that no one could ever do more damage than shrub did in his eight years. If these crazy people are elected, we ain't seen nothing yet. And even such crazies as Mitchell and Cantor will soon learn that even they can't control what they and their billionaire paymasters have created.
