Why is this New Rules segment from March posted today? Is there some relevance to something in the news today? What gives?

Might have something to do with the plethora of anti-public education movies coming out.

I'd like to see the moron who came up with this "let's blame all the problems on the teachers" scapegoating scheme arrested and jailed for the crime of destroying so many good teachers' careers and lives.

There are serious problems with the education system but they darn sure DO NOT start and end with the teachers! Why isn't anybody calling for firing all the school board members and school administrators?!? They are far more culpable for the idiotic policies that take time away from educating our kids. Also blame the "2-year plan" revolving door schemes that come in promising to "fix" our education system from the inside then fade away and are forgotten when the next "2-year plan" comes to the fore. If anybody noticed the veiled reference there, congratulations, you got my point exactly.

Stop blaming the teachers!

PS, if you need a math teacher then hire a damn math teacher. Don't haul the moron gym coach in there to waste everybody's time!
