1. Yeah, they're that stupid

Even though the end of the world means that they will al be raptured. It kinda shows their real faith in god. Second, it's pretty arrogant to believe that you are special and that you would survive the end of the world. I mean, doesn't the end kinda mean the end?

I do think having some in case of an emergency like an earthquake is a good idea though. But if you actually had to use a years worth, you're having a lot more problems than just food.
