Karl Rove was served a subpoena Sunday, Oct. 24th, 2010, as he arrived at the CBS studios to appear on "Face the Nation." Upon his arrival, Rove was served a subpoena to give a deposition in a lawsuit that stems from the 2004 election in Ohio. Despite the fact that two news crews taped Rove being subpoenaed, neither CBS nor CNN have reported it or aired the footage.

I sat down with the attorneys who issued the subpoena, Clifford Arnebeck and Bob Firtrakis, and asked them how their suit reached this point and what Mr. Rove's legal obligations are, considering he has strenuously avoided ever appearing under oath.

Filmed for the forthcoming documentary PAY 2 PLAY: Democracy's High Stakes - http://pay2play.tv

3. United States thinks their shit doesn't stink
The United States is one of the most corrupt countries in the world. W. is a war criminal but impeachment was taken off the table in 2006? Why? Obama could even be tried for war crimes for continuing the illegal war and crimes that go with it. And then there is this turd Rove. And nothing. If these same acts were committed in another country Americans would be screaming terrorists. (Especially if it were France!!)

5. It was taken off the table because if the administration played nice, the bad guys will play nice.
When the Rethuglicans take the house, the Obama administration will find out just how wrong they were as they find themselves involved in case after case of charges brought on by the Rethuglicans. The idea that if we don't prosecute you (or even start an investigation) on your crimes, you will be our friends. A constitutional law professor should never have even considered that approach.

17. +1
And, politically, which is much further down on the reason to have sought trials, is that without the trials, Americans do not see a difference between (R) and (D). They still don't have jobs and are going to hold someone accountability.

Rightly, this is Obama has he is prez and head of the party.

Had trials occurred and people brought to justice, the people would not be running back to the (R).

No justice. No peace.

13. We need/must demand justice
The American people need to know that our justice system works for all regardless of power or money. I think Obama made a mistake when he thought if he played nice he could win when instead he needs to play fair. No matter, Obama has our vote because the people still do have "Hope" that the Department of Justice will play fair.

24. Rove was a college drop out, as was Rush and several other
of these Repugs. While his wiki biography has changed since 10 years ago to include 3 colleges, it does not say he graduated. Pretentious, all of these rw flim-flammers.
