He would not flood the world again.

9. You can't?
The Republican mindset (not to mention their world view) has been moving backwards in time for the last 30 years. They recently arrived in the 17th Century- By the next administration they'll be claiming the world is flat.

I find this very easy to believe. Depressing and disgusting, but easy to believe.

5. Unfortunately, this idiot is
from my state:puke: Someone should remind him that according to the old testament, gawd tends to deal very harshly with people he finds wanting. In other words, the problem is dealt with by eliminating the people who caused the problem.

I hope that every single one of the registered Dems who sat this round out are sitting pretty financially for the next 50 years; because if not, they can get right up to the front of the line for the ass raping these serial lunatics have in store for us all...

8. That's always been the Republican position on climate change-
-that is when they acknowledge its existence. I guess they are now feeling comfortable enough to take it public.

And then when it doesn't happen... well, let's keep some seeds and shovels ready to start planting anew. Maybe the disappointment will knock some sense into these lunatics.

If god was going to deal with climate change he would have done so long before now... like when he supposedly created everything.

18. God IS dealing with Climate Change
He is expunging the cancer that is Man from the face of the Earth.

The Earth is 4.6 Billion years old. We have the moon because of a collision with a mars-sized object. The Earth has been slammed with asteroids/meteorites that boiled the oceans and turned the land to fire. Volcanic eruptions of such intensity as to make Pompeii or Mt. St. Helens look like mere hickups. The Caldera at Yellowstone National Park has erupted several times that we know of and caused destruction on a scale we mere humans can barely imaging.

74,000 years back a massive volcano in Sumatra filled the earth’s atmosphere with dark cloud for years. The event reduced the world temperature by 8 to 10 degrees Celsius. Close to 80% of the living beings including humans were dead on the earth.

...snip...

VEI-8 (Supervolcano) eruptions have happened in the following locations.

* Lake Taupo, North Island, New Zealand - Oruanui eruption 26,500 years ago
* Lake Toba, Sumatra, Indonesia - 75,000 years ago
* Whakamaru, North Island, New Zealand - Whakamaru Ignimbrite/Mount Curl Tephra 254,000 years ago
* Yellowstone Caldera, Wyoming, United States - 640,000 years ago
* Island Park Caldera, Idaho/Wyoming, United States - 2.1 million years ago
* Kilgore Tuff, Idaho, United States - 4.5 million years ago
* Black Tail Creek, Idaho, United States - 6.6 million years ago
* La Garita Caldera, Colorado, United States - Source of the truly enormous eruption of the Fish Canyon Tuff 27.8 million years ago

The Lake Toba eruption plunged the Earth into a volcanic winter, eradicating an estimated 60% of the human population (although humans managed to survive, even in the vicinity of the volcano), and was responsible for the formation of sulfuric acid in the atmosphere.

The point is, the Earth has seen far, far worse than what Man can do. The Earth will survive. Life will probably survive us as well. The only question is: what will happen to homo sapiens?

22. Let's All Put On Our Elephant Party Hats....
get in a circle and sing Don't Worry, Be Happy! Ever notice how they never have one shred of responsibility for anything they destroy, ruin for future generations or screw up for this one? They always have a fast answer that they concoct out of any number of places (most of which have little proof and then weak at best) but they are always right so we must listen to their wizzzzzdum.
