6. He is better than *any* in the GOP
as far as I have heard. Every one of those assholes still insist that tax cuts increase revenue.

5. I suggest Obama use him to get the message out on this.
Someone needs to help bring the masses to their senses.

7. Good luck with that.
This Whitehouse doesn't seem to be interested in getting messages out, messages of any kind.

8. I read a good article by Stockman several months ago
in which he firmly places the blame for the current economic crisis at the feet of the GOP. Even after all that's happened, Republicans continue to stand by their tax cut theology, even though facts aren't on their side. They also ignore the fact that Reagan raised taxes on several occasions, when he realized he'd gone too far.

9. I'm sick to death of the lie that Reagan did nothing but cut taxes
The truth is that starting in 1982, Reagan signed 7 tax INCREASES. He realized that the 1981 tax cut had ballooned the deficit and knew that there would be trouble if something were not done.

Problem is, is raised taxes on those who didn't really have any money to begin with, so revenues were STILL down... oh and he still spent money like a drunken sailor on leave.

The GOP has NEVER been fiscally responsible. EVER.
