Hi,
RTE television say 50,000, organisers say over 100,000.
Men women and children from all over the country with all types of groups. 0 arrests and no violence.
I saw unions, groups for the disabled, the poor, lots of people there who were just peed off!
I was towards the back when it started RTE said 50,000 when I was a Capel st bridge. Then when we got to GPO rally had to be delayed because there were still people at Capel st bridge 40 mins later so I'm thinking a lot more than 50,000 anyway!

Forgot to say it was also a bitterly cold day. There was a thunder and lightening storm the night before and the first snowfall of the year. Some public transport was closed briefly that morning and people traveling far would have had problems.
