1. Interesting...Not to minimize the threat and concerns raised in this clip, but one thing that

came to mind while Bob Ayers was speaking about how now you can gain access to millions of documents was the data mining being done on individuals. Earlier in the video when Mike Mullen is discussing how tiny bits of data might be assembled in such a way as to come up with "an understanding that just wasn't there before".

All I could think of was "no shit", as I selfishly related this to my own recent history of my health insurance piecing data together about me to label me as a diabetic, when that diagnosis has never been made (because I am not). Then there's the nightmare of dealing with the credit rating agencies when an error is encountered there, and all the new and unique ways credit ratings are being implemented to enhance the corporate bottom line.

Why don't we show as much concern over corporate entities gaining access to our personal privacy for profit? Granted one can lead to wars and endangers societies as a whole, yet the other can also destroy an entire society bit by bit, one individual at a time.

Of course, I'm an old fart and still can't understand people publishing personal info on social pages....

Same here.

Same here.

Have you heard of a website that is discussing this diabetic thing. What's with this?

I don't want to deflect on the subject, I just have to ask - I am trying to work out a time to go see my insurance company. I am ticked.

3. I hope with this release that US policy-makers
will question more than the security of what they are doing but the very substance of what they are doing and how it looks to the rest of the world when their most dirtiest of laundry is aired.
