I can see both points of view. I can see damage being done by these releases, damage that I could imagine not knowing the content or scope of the leaks. At the same time, I want transparency. From my point of view, there have to be some secrets -- I have no doubt Valerie Plame would say the same.

The nature of the US actions internationally and the kinds of things that our government tries to keep secret are so disturbing that my seesaw was definitely weighted in favor of far more transparency needed.

But Sam's simple argument convinced me. It's really that fucking simple. You lie, deceive, bamboozle, etc etc to the degree that our "leaders" have and each administration covers up for the former, it damn well deserves to have its dirty secrets exposed. Yup, you convinced me Sam -- have at it WikiLeaks!

Of course Sam, I agree, But then when was it that the government "has not lied" to the people?

- It's been one long lie from the start......

the multi-nationals and all their little lie, theft, and death organizations - World Bank, IMF, Tri-Latteral Comm, Council on Foreign Relations etc etc etc etc etc and all the ones in the partenr countries - mostly Europe and the US and white Canada and white Australia.

The Dems have to take the hit because the Republicans dominate in the elite ruler group, but few of the leaders of Dems are worthy of being called Dems because they are ensconced in the ruler elite group.

These leaks so far are out of the gate and are all anti-Democrats. You got to be suspicious about that.

Obama promised transparency. You got to think about that.

We are broke and paper money is being printed freely and tiny human minds are convincing other to think like them - to hate the government and to believe Obama is creating the death panels. They cheer the rich and cheating lobbyists and ceo's because they are rich and the tiny human minds all think they will become rich, also.

How do the people save the country and kill the empire? How do we learn to buy and sell from each other again. Why let a top layer of inhumanity make us into serfs - across the globe?

The ruling elite are on a roll. How do we stop the avalanche?

How do we hold onto the bottom part of the middle class ..... at a minimum. How do we stop the plan to grow the number of poor and their power over all of us.

The wikileaks are from the State Dept and one administration, so far. Very suspicious.

In the meantime, has the stealing stopped, yet?
