1. oooh a market where they sell vegetables!
No heavy industry, no real money, just a bunch of small time corner vendors selling produce. That's not what I call progress. Progress would be scenes of unionized factory workers making durable goods for domestic and foreign markets. Iraqis earning a living wage in a modern economy with job security would be what I call progress. Are the Bushies trying to create a nation that resembles just another collection of squalid and impoverished towns that resembles what one might see in any other country in the developing world?
