5. I appreciated his mini-speech there
it was good. and it showed he is capable of being a VP candidate imo, that's great to see. I think HRC, John, and Obama would make great VP candidates for one another. I hope Gore still runs, and if not John has my support for now.

The problem here that is being addressed is the fact of LIMITLESS resources. We do NOT have them, and in fact, we are in such shambles economically that this warfare cannot be continued at this pace, financially speaking. We can only go so far into debt that the stock market and other investment issues would eventually cave from the unsustainable debt.

thanks for the vid.

6. Absolutely, and as Obama pointed out so wisely....
the American people also don't have limitless patience for these shenanigans in Iraq. But what the current policy asks for is exactly that: limitless patience for pressing forward. Obama asks: ".... how long will this take and at what point do we say enough." He showed some good, clear thinking in this little speech; I'm very impressed and happy to see it. And I'm also glad he mentioned the poor living conditions of the folks we were nominally sent there to help: the people of Iraq. And Crocker sure couldn't give a good concrete answer about those benchmarks Obama asked him to describe.
