Radical elements within the US government led by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and others used the 9/11 attacks to undermine the democratic rights of the American people by what amounts to suspending the constitution and replacing it with what is essentially fascist legislation: the Patriot Act.

Citizens of Democratic Underground are more likely to view a video featuring Christina Agulera at the super bowl than they are to view a video featuring Dennis Kucinich defending We the People of the United States and our Constitution.

16. Great half-empty spin on it but the reality is

that people on DU are more likely to watch Kucinich than most American citizens and we know who the Congressman is. And that is all good.

Besides, I didn't watch Christina Aguilera, did you? And Kucinich didn't have the Super Bowl as a lead in to his comments.

and funny thing is, for all the hate of Obama, many Republicans I talk to respect Kucinich even when they disagree with him; it's because he takes a stand unlike other Democrats.

15. I suggest you read up on the actually suit

before dismissing Kucinich completely. And even if it is ridulous, which it seems less so after getting the facts, it doesn't change the fact that Kucinich is one of the only members of Congress who stands with the people consistantly.
