Full story here. Harry Smith (who recently left The Early Show but continues to contribute to CBS News) interviews Wael Ghonim, the Google executive credited for sparking the Egyptian rebellion via the Internet.

3. A reluctant leader. He doesn't want to be a leader, but he is. Fate
may draw him back into the frey as things unfold. He is impressive, intelligent, courageous and charismatic enough to be a leader even though it is not what he wants.

He tweeted yesterday that he had not seen his wife and children since this began and he was looking forward very much to hugging and holding them.

He also said on Twitter that he has met with Military Brass and cannot believe that a few young guys can now sit and talk to them, just have a conversation. I guess it will take a while to get used to the freedom.

When he was released from prison he became very emotional over the deaths of the protestors and in his latest tweet, it is clear he has not forgotten them and wants justice for them:

Ghonim Wael Ghonim
To all those who killed my brothers and sisters who were peacefully protesting in Egypt. Please be scared because we are after you #Jan25

I truly hope the U.S. stays out of Egypt's business now, but it doesn't look that way. He is right that they have to move quickly while the momentum is still there to complete the transition to democracy.

4. Pure and simple, yet there next steps need clear new plans and the same resolve..
I think they can find them. I am hoping that they find the path and walk into a future of democratically sensible self determination.

We need to find resolve in our souls to deny deceit and corruption in all forms. That would change this country and our individual lives. When we see a purity of purpose and a goodness in spirit it is a moving force.

This force came not just from a kind compassionate heart but a intelligent concern for those who shared his world, his country, his foot steps. He had no choice but to do the honest thing and it changed his country. Bravo.

Now it's too late.

8. New revolutionaries -- who don't have guns -- and cry -- love these men!!!
Wonderful young man --

FEAR is the psychological barrier -- it's a HUGE barrier --

but often here at DU, we can't even get rid of FEAR in trying to fantasize

how we might be able to improve things -- can't even get rid of FEAR being

injected into every conversations --

and what is it FEAR of? FEAR of what the right wing will "say."

FEAR of what the right wing will "do."

And, they're not even beating people up or torturing us yet -- !!

Well, they're torturing our homeless and impoverished --

They beating up people in our prisons -- and in our courts where Judge's are

now BOUGHT just as our politicians are by corporations!!

Also -- he said Said as "his brother" -- he saw himself in him --

Saw that the police were saying "you have no rights" -- !!!

FOR MALES AND FEMALES ... CRYING IS AN ESSENTIAL OUTLET FOR HURT AND ANGER --

These are the kinds of people -- HUMANISTS -- we need to be looking for --

These are the HUMANISTS who defeat armies and dictators!!

As for our emotions towards one another, it is one of the major reasons why

elites work to separate us -- because we are capable of loving one another and

seeing ourselves in one another - - !!!

LOVE is an immense danger to dictatorships!!
