2. It's about fucking time

someone said it! What possible justification is there for this massive military? Especially in light of the fact that the right wing wants to undermine every facet of America's social safety net.

For decades the military industrial complex exaggerated the Soviet threat to justify our enormous military. Today we even spend more based on exaggerations of the Muslim extremist threat. Only stupid people would allow this bullshit to continue.
