2. This is incredibly heartbreaking, and most think the spill is old news...
We're going to be seeing the aftereffects for countless years to come. ;(

Here's more on the baby dolphins: :(

If you have time to look at my sig line and its video citations, the one on EPA and Corexit shows testimony of a scientist who is upset with the EPA and its investigation into Corexit. The EPA took a look at what Corexit did to fish in a very short period of time, like for less than two weeks. So that if the fish died at the twenty day mark, it couldn't be the Corexit that caused the problem, as the EPA had deemed the Corexit to be safe.

We are now in a Dark Ages that the world has never seen before. When industry and government collude to re-define how scientific studies are handled, when they can create scientific 'doctrines" out of thin air, the human species, and all other species on our planet, are really in a life and death struggle. And those who understand the Truths about what is going on are considered "senile" Dishonest, quacks, and illiterate (Scientifically speaking.)

4. Thank you!
Both for the reply and for the additional links that bring this serious issue to our attention. Good job, and I'll certainly check them out. I completely agree with you that "studies" into the impact of this terrible disaster have been seriously flawed and have received little attention. This oil spill was so last year... :grr:

I'm very afraid that, with so little news coverage and the loss of national interest, we're just going to stop doing much of anything to clean this up and assess the consequences, and that's really to our peril. We're still experiencing the effects of the Exxon Valdez spill all these years later and this one is so many, many times worse. :(

I posted the link to the dolphin story because it was kind of buried in the E&E forum and I thought it was important and on the same subject. I also posted a related story there yesterday(?), another issue that should be front page news, but has been forgotten and buried. *sigh* :( :hi:

"Nothing out there that will harm anything or anyone!" "Corexit is every bit as safe as clown's milk!"

Meanwhile at the gas pumps, BP along with EXXON, are standing in line waiting for the next windfall which they and the wall street shysters blame 100% on the trouble in the Middle East.
