that in order to stop Ghaddafi's planes, the US would have to use bombs. What does the gentleman from the Arab League expect the US to do?

I have no idea whether our action in Libya is right or wrong. I have no idea who the rebels are or what they want. I generally do not support war. But the world was given fair notice that establishing a no-fly zone would mean air attacks.

As for our hesitancy, I suspect we are caught between pressure from France demanding that we protect Europe's oil supply and warnings from certain Middle East oil countries that we stay out. We are caught between a rock and a hard place.

And, of course, as usual, Obama's compass is not morality but rather how to please the biggest bully.
