1. So maybe he used to have a sense of humor?

Seriously, I wonder if maybe he has some kind of brain tumor. The father of a friend of mine had one years ago and he had a big personality change - became very negative, sour, changed his political views, etc. It's not entirely out of the question. Or has he always been an old Get-off-my-lawn type guy?

5. Before I retired I worked for a magazine and we published an in-house

mag for him. Spoke to him several times on the phone and must say, very, very charming. What can I say?
