1. Conservative Economics(Reaganomics) is a Scam!
and a danger to democracy itself. For many years, the left warned America about the Republicans true agenda, well now there should be no doubts anymore... they are fascists.

2. Thank you, Thom!
I think we should turn that little piece into an advertisement.

4. We must keep up the fight against this plague
if we are to have the same America that it was 30 years ago, before Reagan was president.

Reagan said that government can do no good, then, when elected, went on to prove it.
It is up to us to send this message to people, so that they stop electing people who say and do this. We have to change the rhetoric into one where government is there to SERVE the people, and if managed properly, by WE THE PEOPLE, not them, the corporations, can in fact do the most good for the most people.

5. I can't rec this enough.
If we have any enemies at this point, they're probably looking at UHmerica and saying "why bother?"

The American wealthy, corporations and their political puppets are killing this once great country one day at time just fine without a single bomb being dropped.

Income inequality is worse than it's been in nearly a century.

For 10 years, over 50% of the discretionary budget goes towards the military, mostly to fight occupations against nations or abstract concepts that posed not even a remote threat to ANY American citizen.

Europe and Scandanavia are killing us in infrastructure repair.

Only the well-to-do to extremely wealthy's children can reasonably afford to go to college anymore. For the $100,000/year and under set, it's a Sallie Mae mountain on your backs until your mid-30s-40s!

Only the well-to-do to extremely wealthy can afford health care if they seriously need it. For the $100,000/year and under set, dying is actually the less expensive option. Other countries laugh at our asses.

Only the well-to-do to extremely wealthy can travel without having to save for 2-4 years to do it.

57 million people thought "President Sarah Palin" was a great idea. The rest of the world thinks she's a comedy act. It's embarrassing.

We'd rather employ our Chinese slave state to make all of our crap than pay American workers even a dollar more an hour to do the same thing. Meanwhile, no one even THINKS to ask that the CEOs make a dollar more an hour LESS. In fact, we're giving these people tax breaks and moolah out the yin-yang twins while our incomes in real dollars decline.

We're not innovating because there's no money in it. We're not repairing our infrastructure because there's no money in it. There isn't any universal health care because there's no money in it. We can't make college cheaper because there's no money in it.

Peace? No money in it.

War? There's already a war, it's been going on for 40 years (or 400, depending on which historian you ask), it's against the working/middle/poor classes and unless millions do something about it (like, for instance, protest outside boardrooms and their gated communities), it's never going to END. In fact, it's only going to get worse as they get pushed.

Do you know who your real enemy is, America?

Here's a hint: You likely walked past his conference room or saw him on CNBC on Squawk Box.

6. Half-truth: "The government did not create the states, the states created the federal government."
The first 13 states created the federal government. Many of the rest, including everything west of the Mississippi, were created by the federal government. Then again, the federal government carved the "Northwest Territory" into Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois--from one, four. Then there's the Missouri Compromise, the Kansas Debacle, the annexation of land from Mexico (and subsequent partitioning and allowing entrance to the Union).

7. Well, now,
first, we might acknowledge that St. Ronnie was a mere figurehead, one who met the criteria of the uber wealthy. These uber wealthy are the ones who have our nation by the short hairs. They have had their way with us for better than sixty years now, steadily and persistently corrupting our nation's media, infrastructure, and government.

These uber wealthy know that at least a third of us will swallow their red herrings without question. They know that, for decades now, another large segment of the population has thrown up their hands in resignation, and failed to take effective action against them--these vile, greedy corporatists.

Now, it's as though the Corporate Megalomaniacs have progressed beyond their carefully considered rape of our nation. Now, they want to kill dissent outright. They want to kill activism outright. They want to kill US outright.

And, I think we're gonna fight back. I see us fighting back in Wisconsin. I see us fighting back in Arizona. I see US fighting back.

8. All true. And Reagan continues to give them cover.
Anyone with an ounce of objectivity can connect the dots back to Reagan. However misguided (for lack of a better term), he was very successful in selling himself as an effective leader and a champion of "getting the gov't off our backs". Polls continue to rate him favorably, which is why the GOP never fails to venerate the man and connect their current policies back to him. Putting the scam and untimate fiasco of Reaganomics in its place is fine for a select audience, and may seem second nature in terms of explaining current conditions. However, for a larger population, the focus needs to be on the current crop of Republicans who continue to advance and even expand his policies. "Reinventing" Reagan as the perpetrator of all things gone awry will not sell too well to a larger audience, even if the message is 100% true. Ironically, it might even serve to provide a measure of innoculation to Republicans: "Hey let's give them half a chance to finish the job that good-guy Reagan started". Bottom line -- give him a rest and reverse course by way of putting the Paul Ryan & company Republican party in its proper place.
