5. Looks good! Usually it takes 10's of thousands of us to make the news vs a handful of teabaggers.
Whoever thought of this was smart.

1) An event where they knew he AND THE PRESS would be

2) Deliver the message ON A BOAT!

Very sweet.

12. I still say he looks like "Larry Kroger" in 'Animal House'
The role was played by Tom Hulce (also well known for 'Amadeus'). But Walker has a kind of Eddie Haskell thing -- like he knows it's all a game and he is thinking how good he is at it even as he answers and he can't hide the smirk.

Walker plays the every-man thing: "most people when they go fishin go to get away from work..."
even though he is at that function covered by the press in his role as governor.

17. I caught that too.. However, it was lost on Scott - that one detail.... At this "get away from
work idea", he was actually receiving press coverage because of his role as governor...

14. I guess the First Amerndment must also be rude
Freedom of speech was never a conservative concept back in the day and still hasn't quite caught on in those circles.

16. For shame, Scotty
"Most people when they go out fishing want to get away from their jobs, their politics, business...."

Are you NUTS? Lots of people in Wisconsin without jobs want one, and many others with jobs are afraid they'll lose them. Because of YOU! Then there are the folks working multiple jobs who don't have the time or luxury of going fishing. JERK!

He knows he is a one termer and is working as hard as he can for his corporate masters before he gets recalled.

The Ohio governor is dong exactly the same things.

22. Funny? I thought Gov. Walker would be a dynamite-fishing kind-of-guy
Blast fishing or dynamite fishing is the practice of using explosives to stun or kill schools of fish for easy collection. This often illegal practice can be extremely destructive to the surrounding ecosystem, as the explosion often destroys the underlying habitat (such as coral reefs) that supports the fish.<1> The frequently improvised nature of the explosives used also means danger for the fishermen as well, with accidents and injuries.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blast_fishing

It would be in keeping with this overall philosophy of getting in, grabbing all you can while destroying everything around you, and getting out while the getting's good.
