10. Smart move.

By shaking his hand and HOLDING ONTO IT, he forced Gingrich to stay until he had said all he had to say. Otherwise, The Newt would have fled after the first couple of words.

The fact that nearly 50% of the voters voted for Vice President (and probably President) Sarah Palin last time around should be proof that it doens't matter HOW big an asshat they nominate.
