WI Sen. Jauch-Republican Pledge of Allegiance speech on the floor of the Wisconsin Senate yesterday- during debate on a bill restricting the right to vote.

The bill being debated would require photo ID at the polls, but even more restrictive, would ban anyone from voting if they hadn't been at their current address for at least 28 days before the election. That would disenfranchise students, the poor, and those who move.

"Jim Crow move over, the Wisconsin Republicans have taken your place," said Sen. Bob Jauch, D-Poplar, comparing the requirement to segregationist policies and apartheid.
