been shot. In this country if your in a wheel chair and drinking a beer you get your face busted
on the concrete. WE AREN'T FREE ANYMORE. This not the country I thought it was.

3. I think your comparison
of our police and those in other democratic countries may be a bit off.

"Did you see that gut trying to pull the barrier away from the cops....in this country he would have

Are the examples above based on real incidents?...If not, I'd say you're

overdoing the "oppressive Amerikan police " routine a bit.

We do have freedom of expression and freedom of assembly in this country, so

I'd have to challenge the notion that American police are any

more oppressive in these situations than in other western democracies.

5. actually, yes
recently a video has been all over the internet showing police doing something very close to what is described above to a man in a wheelchair. Trouble is, when I went to youtube to get it for you, I found multiple other videos of police doing it to other victims.

We really do have to do something about the authoritarian culture in this country. First thing, take the guns away. From the police too. They do fine without them in more advanced countries.

7. Of course there are
instances of police abuse in the US...It is One country of about 310 million

that comprises about three quarters the population of the Twenty Seven

countries of the European Union, population 420 million.

How disproportionate it is to police abuse in the EU, I don't know.

As for the idea that the "police do fine without them in 'more advanced' countries",

it seems not, as the fact is, most of the police in the EU now do carry guns.

6. Here it is, watch it and weep.

This it what the OP was referring to, the barrier comment was an extrapolation from this horrid incident with the man in a wheelchair.
