5. The problem is, we should
not have to HOPE the Democrats do the right thing. Doing the right thing should be automatic. But, strangely enough, in this new and confusing political reality, doing the right thing is no longer automatic.

Even in the face of massive opposition and hundreds of thousands of us signing petitions against it, Obama signed a bill that extended the Bush tax cuts. So, I understand you 'hoping' for the right action.
