Mr. Friedman, like most commentators on the Palestine conflict, refuses to identify the "elephant in the living room" again: The fanatical, bible based, expansionist Zionism that controls Israeli politics. I fear nothing short of Armageddon is going to stop this fringe group of Jewish society from reclaiming, what to them anyway, is biblical Israel. This is the same religious clique that scared many Jews away from the Zionist movement 100 years ago. They've always been there. Why is nobody talking about them? Netanyahu's speech isn't diplomacy, it's lunacy.
