Listened to his life story for a few minutes and then had to move on, Im sure its interesting and all, but a summary of things generally helps.

2. He's having to jump through hoops to register to vote

I see that you're in Australia. Here in the U.S. Some states are passing laws that will make it difficult For people to vote. This man is detailing the steps he's taking to get himself registered. It's galling.
