A UK-based human rights group, together with Pakistani activists, are seeking an arrest warrant for a former CIA legal director, allegedly responsible for drone strikes which killed hundreds of civilians. Now-retired, John Rizzo admitted in an interview, that he'd been approving such attacks in Pakistan since 2004, despite the fact the U.S. isn't at war with the country. The purpose of the strikes is to target Al-Qaeda militants, but the total civilian toll is estimated at up to 2,500 people so far. Pakistani lawyers have already filed a complaint against Rizzo, accusing him of conspiring to kill innocents. American anti-war activist Fred Branfman, believes the US is only harming its own interests in the region.

1. The US is just creating more terrorists
but in truth these people are just trying to protect themselves from a war mongering country

The Patriots that fought England for independence were in fact terrorists

2. Drone strikes "Infuriate, alienate and inspire hatred"
and also do a good job of ensuring that the very profitable (but quite bogus) "war on terror" lasts for as long as possible.

3. The same strategy was employed
successfully against native Americans. Of course in those days we didn't have drones. We terrorized them until they could clearly understand there was no advantage in trying to remain peaceful -they were going to die one way or another. This strategy always resulted in a war, you know the rest. We used this strategy from one coast to the other.

There will be war with Iran and Pakistan. It's only a matter of time. And that is the objective. The few can profit from the wars and gain from the acquisition of resources. It will be mission accomplished.

4. Drones kill you deader than an aircraft with a pilot inside.

5. that is
the plan.. can't have profitable forever wars without angry enemies..

a 'Democratic' president has embraced the robot war wholeheartedly, along with a truckload of other non-democratic ideals.
