I LOVE this guy, but I STRONGLY disagree with him here. But in any case, judge for yourself.
(A video by LiberalVoiceTV)-

After watching the right wing blogosphere implode after this deal was announced, I decided to look into what they were so dissatisfied with. I didn't have to look any further than the nearly total protection against social program cuts, opened doors for tax hikes on the rich, probable future assault on corporate welfare, significant cuts to the Pentagon, fewer cuts on future budgets, and aversion of this issue until 2013. It's not perfect and you better believe Republicans ought to be happy with an all-cuts plan, but Democrats have set themselves up for a win in the future -- and your votes will help them accomplish that.

1. I feel the same as you do. He's well spoken, and admirably presents
his arguments. But I don't happen to agree with him on this one of his videos.

One thought, we don't want Romney in 2013, but what the difference will be I just wonder.

It's going to be hard to get now partially successful Tea Party folks out of the House.

But the biggest goal we should have in 2012 elections is getting rid of as many Rethugs and Blue Dogs as we can, making the House and Senate both progressive to push Obama into getting some revenue streams coming in from corporations and the rich.

3. Huh.'revenue streams coming in from corporations and the rich?'
Shit, that's long been covered.

Those revenue streams are called CAMPAIGN DONATIONS

2. Relax! The debt-ceiling deal cuts next to nothing.

4. all this Happiness Patrol stuff from the WH and TPM reminds me of Duarte's Presidency
in El Salvador: its only purpose was to distract everyone by pretending the country was in civilian hands (i.e., someone's going to get disemboweled and her fetus stuck on a bayonet and fed to pigs)
