You dont stop shildren/young adults have sex, if they just are been told to "do not"... If you want your shildren to not have sex, or wait to have sex to when they are grown up, they have to be _educated_ over time... You can learn shildren what that thing are, even without being to grapic about it... They manage to do it when I was growing up in Norway... both in the 7 8 and 9th grade they have "sexual education" on the programme.. And it worked pretty well.. And I doubt that the teatches in US is more stupid then our teatchers;)

In fact, many dokumentes have proven that if a shild/yound adult are been _educated_ they are less proven to have sex withouht preventives, or maybee not have sex before they are 16-18 year old.. And if they do, they use preventive, to nok have "accidents"..

If you want peopole to be responsible, grown up, they have to get education to understand what thing are.. You cant just belive that you van get a shild/young adult to not have sexual experience just becouse they are told to do so.. It is just not the way the human way are going..

If your young adult have to have sex, for goods sake juse preventives so they are not given decises and other stuff that cant be pleasent.. Before they are old enough to take the whole responsibility for their actions.. You cant just belive that a 16 year old girl or boy, high on testoteron and in full love, to not have sex.... Better to try to have safe sex, then to risk anything becouse they do had sex, and shi get pregment..

I wil do it when I get shildren.. Tell them to protect themself, even that I surly wil be a verry protective father then the time come... I know what is is to be 16... And a 16 year is 16 year, anywhere in the world... But then, I am just a european with "liberal mindset" so I maybe dont understand the whole thing... That i know about "absidense" that is so populare in the US today, is that it is not working... Its better to EDUCATE your children, then to demand they make promises they wil never manage to hold up to... Dont have sex before marriage is a good thing I guess.. But the fact is that MANY have sex, long before they are married, many married becouse they are pregmant, not for love...

because I don't know a word of it! I think everyone on this thread agrees that trying to teach children abstinence instead of educating them is an endeavor sure to fail. And yes, most of us have been 16, so I/we know what you mean!

Thank you. It may be becouse in school we start engelish in the 3 grade.. And in TV, radio wel over the wole board english are on. I doubt today that you wil find one TV channel in Norway who havent something engelish show on them... I havent find one yet... And Norwigian are not that dificult to learn i hope. Many american do learn norwigian at school, spesialy in the state who have a lot of norwigian emigrants... And they do learn norwigian pretty wel to, but they often have a verry "old" norwigian when they speak then.. The language are diferent from what pepole speak for lets say 50-60 year ago.. I doubt my grandmother, who died in 1967 understand a lot, if she was to wake up today. Many techical words who she dosent know about is comon language today.. And many of the word is engelish... I try to read a lot of engelish, but have to confess, the prefered langauge is either danish, swedish or norwigian, tree language that is verry similar.. Some expresion is diferent, but for the most part we do understand eath other verry well

As we agree about, educating peopole is better then just to teatch absidence from sex. Education are maybee the best way to secure that young adults at least learn what the body is and how you do when you doing stuff.. I dont belive in for graphical thing, but a "moderat way" of learning young adult what the whole thing is about, is the best way to secure that they know what everything is about before they are jumping into it anyway..

But if you educate pepole can make change to themself. Better to have people who belive that absidence is the right thing... Or who belive that the Moon is a yellow Sheecse and the earth is flat as a pancake... This a country who made it to the moon,and back. Who have given the world so mutch know-how.. And now the right wing want the whole thing stoped, so they can rule a populace who are irrogant of the world.. It wil cost america (USA) ALOT if you are letting them doing this to a whole generation of americans...

Good to know that I am not few whit that meaning.. Education, education and then some education is the way to go, to stop arrogance and to stop peopole to belive that they are a master race.. Its confusing to se what is happening in the states.. Before you can think about this type as nuttcases.. Today they are in power, with the key to the nuclear arcenal... Every citizen has the right to pursue happiness. Waiting until you are married is a Christian belief. What about all the unmarried, non-Christian adults? They shouldn't have sex?!?! The gov't should cease and desist immediately and refund the taxpayers the money this ad cost. It should come out of the pocket of the RNC instead.
