3. The Tea Party coming back to the table and admitting
they were wrong. Now that's a real knee slapper. These people can never be wrong because from their perspective they are implementing the will of G-d on America.

Great interview though! :yourock:

5. If you are going to play that game, what about the Reagan and two Bush administrations?
Oh but you dont want to go that far back and deal with 20 years of reckless Republican administrations do you?

7. Not exactly, no
Two very quick points.

If you make $1 million a year and spend $200,000 a year, you dont have a problem, right?

But if you you make $50,000 a year, and spend $51,000, you have a problem. If you can increase your earnings to $200,000 then your spending of $51,000 is not a problem

Ignoring half of the potential solutions to a problem because your ideology causes you to be stubborn makes you part of the problem.

If you want to cut some things first, fine. Lets bring an emergency end to the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. If there is still an issue, roll back the Bush tax cuts. THEN lets see where we are.

11. TeaParty helped GOP block every significant policy fix Dems and WH submitted for 3yrs.
TeaParty went to work with the GOP to keep Bush's economic policies and they won. Bush's policies are still in place and this country's economy is doing great......for the wealthiest. It's been a shit sandwich for the working class since 2005.

10. I agree with everything you said about the Teaparty

However, while the Teaparty refused to support any of the deals made between the two parties, it was for all the wrong reasons, mostly because of their tax pledge, I am glad those deals, especially Obama's 'Grand Bargain' did not get through.

It's interesting that he was proposing over 4 trillion $$ worth of cuts which the Repubs were not even asking for, especially considering that this is almost the exact amount Standard & Poors was demanding.

Since I can't imagine cuts of that amount NOT including tampering with the New Deal Programs, I for one, and others I know were relieved that it was not accepted.

Now of course with the Super Congress and the people who are on it, it is, sadly, likely that the long held dream of the far right to attack Social Programs (which is also the target of Global Capitalists, see Europe and their 'austerity' programs) is about to be accomplished and to think it may happen under a Dem Administration. I hope I am wrong because if not, the likelihood of Repubs winning the WH is raised and I for one would find it hard to forgive Democrats if that happens.

The interview was good, but it did leave out a lot of details, very important details. We don't want to just defeat the Teabaggers, we want to do what is right for the American peole and this whole 'austerity' nonsense never needed to happen and should not have happened especially under a Dem. administration. That is why we elected them.
