There is still so much pressure in our conservative owned mass media to ignore that fact and pretend that the extreme income inequality we are now living within has nothing to do with the current financial trauma.

More and more people understand those fundamentals but they are ignored in so much of the TV news talk that desperately touts more and more cuts to drive the middle class and poor even further into poverty.

Instead of taking a look at the growth in poverty rates in the world's richest country, they suggest we get worked up because some New York state troopers earn over $100K. What is that-- one hour of Warren Buffet's time?

It is really frightening to see the public pushed to resent the few remaining well paid government jobs and call for cuts in those "lavish" pensions, instead of demanding small tax increases from the mega-rich (as Buffet calls his class).
