5. It doesn't work like that. The only person who decides whether a SCOTUS judge recuses themselves...
...is that SCOTUS judge. There is NO mechanism for a forced recusal. So basically, it only works this way if Thomas agrees to it.

...and a substantial supermajority in the Senate. The Republicans will never do something that might allow Obama to put another justice on the SCOTUS.

The only way Citizens United is going away is when one of the Republican justices dies, having a Democrat in the White House.

did time for pretty much the same tax evasion Slappy pulled. Being a SCOTUS doesn't protect you from the laws of the United States. This whole notion that these birds are somehow above the law is bullshit.
