1. Oh, lay off Alex Jones.
He spits it out raw. That means some of it will be truth that can't be authenticated enough to be reported by the MSM, and some of it can't be authenticated by the MSM because its wrong. People who listen to this kind of media are big boys and girls. Let Naomi speak to them! :)

2. Oh I know Naomi can hold her own...
One of the smartest voices and advocates for liberty out there! I loved her vicious attacks of the Bush admin.

But my question is one of credibility. Most folks around here label Jones as a conspiracy nutbag, and I wouldn't want Naomi's brand discolored by association.

3. I hear you, but fear of "brand discoloration" could work to conceal serious crimes.
I've listened to Alex Jones, one thing he talks about is how most people don't want to face the horror of certain crimes, to the extent where if these crimes were being carried out, people would just put down their heads and try to believe it wasn't happening. people being slaughtered en masse? Why I know nothing about it! In such situations it takes people who don't fear brand discoloration to speak the truth, because they are speaking against a propaganda narrative that is flooding the public awareness to the extent that anybody speaking out against it seems absolutely insane. To me, its the people dissing "conspiracy nutbags" who are questionable, as they are in effect saying that once a crime reaches a certain level of grandeur and collective involvement, we are to pretend that its not happening. While this belief may benefit individual survival, it does not benefit justice. So what I'm trying to saying is I admire Naomi for going on that show, for not being afraid to be labelled conspiracy theorist. It shows a courage of conviction we could all learn from.

Peace

because they share some common beliefs.

19. They're all into Conspiracies that...
have little to no evidence to back them up...I see no use for Conspiracies that have no point...If the evidence clearly says your ideas are wrong LET IT GO!

9/11 Truthers are a perfect example of wasted time, money & effort that goes into PIMPIN all the crazy & outlandish claims those folks make. Oh well, its free country.

10. Alex Jones is Art Bell minus the aliens
at least Bell was likable and had an entertaining show, if you didn't take it seriously.
Jones is just a manipulative, paranoid loudmouth.

who can't handle the truth, good gig though, I wish I had his income,
so popular Glenn beck had to steal his material, and this is why neither

And usually ends up with 5. However, if you keep your eyes open as he is taking you there, you will see stuff that will make your hair stand on end.

14. broken clock commentator...
if you spew enough, long enough you are bound to hit on something. that is alex's forte'. He never shuts up.

he's the human equivalent of a thousand monkeys typing for a thousand years. he will sooner or later produce something. But he has one thing over monkey's, he can talk. And it seems like he's been talking constantly for 1000 years.

17. Sadly I trust Alex Jones more than I trust the NYT or Canada's
MSM.

Yes, there's lots of garbage there but more truth than the propaganda in our MSM. I believe 911 was an inside job and that Bin Laden died in 2001 and that the Iranian plot is ludicrous.

God only knows how intelligent people can believe half the crap their politicians and MSM put out there. I'll bet if you did a research project on the MSM and Alex Jones to see which was more trustworthy it would be AJ. I never miss him. As of last year I gave up on the MSM.

I like Judge Napolitano and Ratigan. But give me Max Keiser, Zerohedge for the truth. I watch RT (Russia Today) and Press TV (Iran) faithfully. Al Jazeera I truth less since I learned the CIA was involved.

Hell's Bells there were 3000 MSM personalities working for the CIA in the 60s. Wonder who is one their payroll now.

Yes, Alex is vulgar and lacks gravitas but the truth is often VERY ugly.

And before I conclude --- I used to come to DU 3 or 4 times a day. I don't recognize it any more. I think it has gone over to the dark side. Especially if you trust Obama --Nobel Peace Prize murderer par excellence. Out of all the slime balls you have for politicians (excluding a few like Kucinich) I would sooner have Ron Paul for president. And I am VERY left-wing.

Here's a test of truth for the media. Which ones are beating the war drums and are gung ho to continue the carnage and which want the wars to stop. Which are demonizing the Muslim countries and which recognize they are not all bad.

I think the US government is the worst terrorist on the planet. Period! I think most people in the world would agree.

(Excluding the maniacs in Canada's NeoCon government.)

18. Why is she on Alex Jones?
Because he has a huge audience, that's why. She sells books. She wants to reach as many people as she possibly can. Why is this so hard to figure out?

21. Alex is on the other side of the field
And I despise RWers. That said, he has an audience of people who are range from the curious and not buying the official line to having been outright burned by the system and want answers. That may well be of the largest groups paying attention still in the US.

Also, most of what he's covered is there...mores the pity.

25. Alex Jones may be a right wing conspiracy theorist, but this actually sounds like a civil discourse.
Imagine that. This is nothing like when a liberal goes on Fox "News" and is ridiculed and talked down to. He's actually talking to her like she's not a babbling idiot.

I still don't like Alex Jones- This is just giving credit where credit is due. Imagine the treatment she's have gotten on Glenn Beck's show...
