they are really on, or whether these people calling themselves Anonymous are the same people that called themselves Anonymous in the last action. This identity is too easy to fake.

You could say the same thing about much that goes on in the Occupy movement. Indeed, I am sure there is infiltration on many levels. Someone said you can tell the infiltrators right away; those are the people who keep asking who the leaders are. I'm thinking probably those people asking for leaders *are* infiltrators, but that does not mean that every infiltrator will sniff around asking who the leaders are. Infiltrators will be everywhere.

I believe the Occupy movement is our nation's -- and maybe the world's -- best hope. Just want to sound a caution. Judge people by their actions and the results of their actions, rather than by who they say they are, because it's too easy to say you're part of the movement and then work against it.

I really think this is an attempt by either Fox News or some other right wing propaganda outlet to either trap newbie anons or give them the opportunity to say "see? I told you so!" about Anonymous. If not, it comes as a real surprise, it will be the first time Anonymous has ever targeted a media outlet. It would seem to go against their very rigid free speech views. Something just doesn't seem right about this....

Edit to add, Fox "News" is a false statement as it is not News it is propaganda.

That's the way a free society operates, everybody can express their opinion even if that opinion is mindless drivel. If some of those idiotic talking heads on Fox said something to the effect of "go out there and start beating up protesters" I would be on board with removing them from the Internet. But that's not the case. Not yet anyway, you never know what to expect from those ass-clowns. But until they say something to that effect, I don't believe a single ion cannon should be pointed at them. Free speech is free speech, and the downside of living in a free society is often times hearing speech that you don't like.

Fox goes far beyond mindless drivel imho. They outright lie and claim its the truth. Why should they NOT be called on that??

Anybody can say whatever they like about Fox, provided they aren't inciting violence etc. But hacking is not protected speech . . . at least not as far as I know.

It would be to turn this so called news organization on their heads and shake them, till their corporate funding falls out for the 99% to take and run. There is nothing more VILE than this organization called FOX NEWS. May their Corporate ship hit an ice berg and sink below the ice cold waves!

Whenever you are in a public place or gym or doctor's office and Fox News is on, ask them to switch stations. In my dentist's office, I was left in a chair with Fox News in my face. I told the nurse to please change the station because my medical doctor insisted that I not watch FoxNews because of my blood pressure. She turned the station.

Also, why is FoxNews available on basic cable and CurrentTV not? Is there a way to change that?

But FAUX News has been way over due for some grimy shit to happen to them. I don't advocate for violence, but I do advocate for severe tongue lashings and e-mail lashings. Faux News and its crew are lower than a snakes belly, so they couldn't possibly be referring to any of the Protesters on Wall Street. And Personally I don't think they are occupying any space that wasn't designated to them from birth in this country. Whats that crap about Land of the Free???
They have as much right to be there as any one.I have always disliked that you can be born in the United States, but there are places in your own country you cannot go. I don't mean Military,or restricted access areas due to safety or places of employment, I am talking about residential areas and parks and all sorts of things that were once public are now somehow PRIVATE. Soon you will need a pass to cross the street.

how much material comes from the think tanks, how the think tanks (eg heritage) coordinate the whole thing with their local and national political campaigns, the use of paid callers, etc
