You can clearly see where the tear-gas canister was deliberately lobed into the circle of those helping. In war, the wounded and those who help them have protections. Our citizens exercising their constitutional rights have less protection than our enemies..

Articles 12 and 18 requires all parties to protect and care for the wounded, sick, and shipwrecked.

Glad you notice their deafening silence at escalating police violence. It reminds me of the '60s.

If our elected officials wanted to stop the escalation, they would. They need to do so that, now, or the Right will again do a judo-flip and re-manufacture the "Silent Majority" crap. Police violence serves no one other than the GOP and the 1 percent.

People where leaving the area as the cops start shooting gas and flash bombs into the crowd. One of the activists is left laying on the ground, injured by the cops. Some people return into the gas zone to help the downed activist,. then the pigs throw a flash bomb right into the group coming to the aid of the fallen?,. WTF! the whole time the cops are BEHIND a metal barricade? there was never any threat to the cops,. so that sorta' defence is not going to fly,. this was an attack by the police on people helping someone the cops had just injured. This is completely unacceptable. Oakland needs more people to go there and help them quiet their cops down some,.

This is appalling.

It's legally and morally WRONG.
