2. Purposely burying the numbers to keep people from thinking
Oakland was successful in striking in the city.... The biggest fear by the politicians and the 1%r's is a nationwide strike.. Shut them down and shut them up. Then their B.S. is B.S. Can you imagine if we saw that in city after city? They are running scared... The people moving their money from the big banks is also scary to them... Little deposits make up more. At some point they will fail. BofA is already teetering on the brink of collapse already.. Adding all the people who are moving because of their added fees has got to hurt them a bit.

5. Local HAS to be accurate because it involved their own community.

4. It was covered fairly sympathetically
..on local (Oakland) MSM outlets. They ran the gamut from saying "several thousand" to 5,000 to 10,000. They portrayed it as peaceful and separated out the Black Block agitators as not representative. If the national news would cover it like this, it would look more like the success that it was.

6. Who are the MSM?
Edited on Sat Nov-05-11 01:37 AM by kimsarah
And why am I not surprised at their ignorance?
Look at who's running the networks and top newspapers.
The important thing is sooner or later Wall St. and Washington D.C. will see how large the protests are, and that folks are keeping a sharp eye on every single action they take from here on out.
Elitists may never come to understand the protests, but they'll come to learn that there's consequences for their actions.

The MSM has long ago lost any claim to objectivity.

8. Clearly a coordinated effort to LIE!
NO media I have seen has put the general strike number over a few thousands,. and the focus of the coverage was of course the provocateur activities,. surprise, surprise. This is a clear media cover-up.

9. Did President Obama finish killing the remnants of THE
FAIRNESS DOCTRINE? To me the Fairness Doctrine is Key to , at least, giving the majority of people the choice of seeing both sides.

That is why BOTH SIDES ARE AFRAID OF THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE, it allows people to view both sides of all "news."

10. Ironically enough,
MASSIVE K AND R!!!

But, who am I kidding, right? Cenk hates on Obama, so you should immediately disregard this post. He also interviews and agrees with Jane Hamsher on many issues, so WTF? You should ignore what he's talking about and believe those who like to consolidate power to the elite. Fucking idiots.
