20. Walker always looks like he's on drugs to me.
His eyes don't look like someone who is all there. His twitter comments show him to be someone who is just totally detached from reality and a sort of robot. He gets so many negative responses to the trivia he posts, you would think he would either answer them or just stop setting himself up. But he keeps insisting on telling us what ball game he went to, or who he had dinner with.

10. Turn a Blind Eye
Let's hope the police in Wisconsin TURN A BLIND EYE and leave
these PEACEFUL protesters ALONE!

How can the police enforce something that's UNCONSTITUTIONAL?

Where are the lawyers? Anyone going to challenge this guy?

How many police are there in Madison??? Let's get five or more
protesters PER cop and see if the PEOPLE can OVERWHELM them so
they CAN'T DO ANYTHING!

Or better yet, tell Walker to go and do his OWN DIRTY WORK
and arrest all the groups of THREE or was it FOUR people that
are considered a group???

Stand in groups of FOUR outside HIS HOUSE, do you need a
permit for that????

GO WISCONSIN!

Awesome video and very applicable to the current global conflict--of the rich and their corporations against the people.

Scott Walker's idea to charge protesters for the cost of police and pepper spray used against them is not a new idea, however.

Let's go back in history several hundred years, back to the time of Cotton Mather and the Malleus Maleficarum, a book better known as the Hammer Against Witches. Cotton Mather was a witch hunter who liked to hang witches. But often they were put on a dunking stool first. If the person survived being dunked, that proved that they were a witch, as only a witch could survive that! So the survivors, proven to be witches, were then hung. If the person drowned, oops, too bad--they weren't a witch, but they had a future in heaven, so it was okay. So what does all this witch hunting have to do with Scott Walker, besides the similarity that persecuting protesters and persecuting so-called witches are both indications of out of control governing?

The family of the executed 'witch' had to pay for the cost of the execution and trial of said witch. In addition, they had to provide a banquet feast for those who conducted said execution!

Cool, huh?

6. It will be a beautiful day to see this piece of human waste.....
...get his walking papers and pink slip. And to also see Professor Elizabeth Warren elected as the next Senator from Mass.

But since when did this gestapo freak think he can charge people for lawful dissent? I wonder what he would do/say when the state says "you're outta here"? Illegal election? Not authorized?

18. Studies have shown 90% of people so tested, would fail, i.e NOT be proven a witch
Edited on Sun Dec-04-11 03:11 PM by happyslug
Cotton Mather actually OPPOSED such tests as being unreliable, thus we have the Salem Witch Trials instead (where Muthur was the Prosecutor). As to Cotton Mathur, he came to OPPOSE such witch trials, as the chances Witches were running them was greater then the possibilities that the Defendant was a witch (thus no actual witch trials in New England after 1692).

As to the dunking test itself, it seems to have been developed as a way to shut up Village Gossips, i.e. the accused "passed" the test thus it was shown by God, that the accused was not a Witch (or God had forgiven the accused of doing witchcraft). By the time of the Salem Witch Trials, it had been used for at least 600 years, and was viewed as old in 1000 AD. The rate of "Forgiveness" was so high that King Stephen of England stop using the related hand burning test around 1150 AD, to many people he knew were guilty were being found innocent or forgiven by God by the burning hand test (the test involved putting a hot iron on one's hand, if it festered in three days you were guilty, if not you were innocent or forgiven by God, Stephen is reported to have said, God is more forgiving then he would have been).

Also remember, the accused was NOT permitted to drown, once the body had sunk, it was the duty of the testers to save the accused. It was not a nice experience, but rarely fatal. From what I have read. most people gladly paid for the test, it ended the talk in the town at a low cost.

Just pointing out the errors in your statement, first Muthur opposed the Dunking test and Second, most people accused prefer the dunking tests then the trials actually held for he sole reason that "spectral" evidence did not matter with a dunking test, but impossible to disprove in a trial before a Judge that believes such "spectral" evidence.

8. Whenever things aren't going his way, like the OWS protesters,
he just whip's up one of those "Permit Needed" worthless pieces of paper. Go Wisconsin! Keep this Koch lackey on defensive and when he is voted out of office, send him a Big Bill for all the extra security he has hired to protect his sorry ass.

Part of a poem by Maya Angelou for all the Heroic OWS protesters.

You may write me down in history
with your bitter, twisted lies
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I rise. :hippie:

... family members who want to retrieve the body of an executed prisoner must first reimburse the State for the cost of the bullet.

This kind of petty vindictiveness is sickening.

11. They're ALREADY being charged. It's called taxes
Doesn't this douche realize the people are already paying for the police and spray through taxes? Even unemployed Occupy people can't avoid the sales tax which I suspect goes in part to pay Walker and for public services like police.

Therefore, taxing the poor and middle class becomes . . .

Taxation without Representation

I propose protesters dress up like Native Americans and, when Walker presents them the bill, they throw it into Lake Michigan.

Thankfully, neither do the depths of the peoples' anger as they keep on signing those petition signatures, volunteering in the rain and cold, and showing up to protest this wicked, nasty man. Your pink slip is coming Scotty Boy.

will we be seeing you at the Capitol on Tuesday (Dec 6) for the "Education Session?" The Dept of Admin thinks they're going to "teach us how to follow the new rules." 9:00 - 11:00. There are additional sessions on Thursday at 4:00 - 6:00 and Sat 9:00 - 11:00. I plan to be at all three sessions.
