Dear brothers and sisters. Now is the time to open your eyes!

In a stunning move that has civil libertarians stuttering with disbelief, the U.S. Senate has just passed a bill that effectively ends the Bill of Rights in America.

The National Defense Authorization Act is being called the most traitorous act ever witnessed in the Senate, and the language of the bill is cleverly designed to make you think it doesn't apply to Americans, but toward the end of the bill, it essentially says it can apply to Americans "if we want it to.

1. OK, What happened?
Was the vid pulled by the original poster or by YouTube? Are the thought police out in force?

4. When does speaking out against our government become an act of terrorism? Soon.
This new bill being passed grants the military the power to seize American Citizens, without trial, without due process, and to hold them indefinitely. They say it is about the war on terrorism. But, since it is the government that defines 'terrorism', when do they decide that speaking out against the government is an act of terror? When do they decide that protesting is an act of terror? When do they decide that talking to another about what is wrong with this country is inciting an act of terror? We're on a slippery, slippery slope, and we're sliding headlong into our countries demise.

RIP Freedom.

5. To be fair;
Obama has promised to veto this bill as it stands. I will patiently await his promised actions. If he signs this into law I will take a wholly different stand on Obama.

I have to believe his words re vetoing this bill. After all, his specialty is as a Constitutional lawyer. This bill is NOT constitutional but with the present Supreme Court there is no telling what they will/will not pass judgment on.
