That'll make a lot of anti-immigrigantista's head explode! Truly a great American tune, meant ot be played generation over generation.
Here's a youtube link to Los Lobos doing a Dead tune, "Bertha".....one of the few Dead tunes that another band actually played better, IMHO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b4OEYOAftwU Three lead guitars...cool.

2. Los Lobos tore up Bertha, true dat. But "better"? Blasphemy!
That is one of the better Dead covers out there.

You know what else was really trippy? The Perry Ferrell/Jane's Addiction version of "Ripple". He showed he really knew the Dead- weaves in bits of Bird Song & The Other One at the end. Track it down if you get a chance.

The Dead and Los Lobos have to be two of my very favorite bands. They are great paired up together and this is one memorable piece of footage.
