Hopefully all these scandals will stop some of them from being the hypocrites that they are. If anything for fear of exposure. It is hard to live a life of secrecy these days.

it's the fact that so many gay, or in the least bi, people are so afraid of being gay that they try, and often fail, to lead sham lives. What does this say about how queer people are treated in public discourse? What is so damn terrifying about someone being gay?

Not to say that these public officials aren't hypocrites, and possibly moronic ones at that (he gave his wallet as collateral??), but I'm looking behind the most obvious problem and seeing something much worse behind it.

I'm more afraid of people feeling the need to marry into an adulterous relationship than the hypocrisy of those people saying I shouldn't get my NON-adulterous relationship state sanctioned.
