He seems to be the only candidate who understands how global warming ties to so many other issues facing our country.

Edwards is right, we need to break our dependence on oil and stand up to the lobbyists who are pushing this dependence.

He called throughout the Q&A for the country to wake up and change the balance of power. He struck a blow at media consolidation and hit Rupert Murdoch as a prime example of the news being in the hands of the very wealthy few. It was a sharp rebuke to the Senator from New York.

I was struck by the differences, live, in person, between Senator Clinton and John Edwards. Senator Clinton clearly comes from a Beltway philosphy. She felt like the authoritarian parent who says, "vote for me and let us in Washington do the rest". I felt as if I was being talked down to.

As`a fan of edwards I agree with him on global warming. I see a problem though when he talks conservation from his 28,000 sq. ft. house. He should hit on jobs going overseas like he did with nafta and other issues related to the general welfare of the common man. You know if he is the parties candidate for pres, the republican owned press corps will hammer him on building a house that takes 100 times the energy that a normal house takes.

I just don't understand why he isn't doing better in the polls.

maybe it's because the progressive vote is split between him and Kucinich? :shrug:
