16. I didn't doubt it because I've seen those "Jay-Walking" segments on Jay Leno.
I am constantly amazed at how clueless people can be. I remember one sequence in which people didn't know which party they belonged to or who ran in the last election...:eyes:

28. Yeah we all WISH it was a joke,.
but that is a representative cross section of low end america,. this place has been Dumbed Down for that last 30 years,. the school system has removed anything that would approach CRITICAL THINKING from the curriculum,. and now they want to take your kids when they are 3 so they can go even further with the systematic institutionalization that creates ignorant politically-dead machine-operators and service industry fodder,. the sheeple class of non-political workers who are willing to accept any indignity as long as they can hope to get a 70 inch plasma TV.

22. Ahah... the KFC question is misleading though.
If I recall correctly, the first KFC was started in Utah. They were trying to bring kentucky style fried chicken elsewhere. Kinda pointless to try and sell something that's already common in the area you're trying to sell it. :)

27. In a country of 300 million people, you're always going to find some ignorant, uninformed people.
We also have to keep in mind that there's a conscious effort to keep people uninformed and ignorant. The people in this clip are extreme examples. People are likely to know a lot more than these folks. This is not to say, though, that Americans are woefully ill-informed about politics.

If they showed me that map in the YouTube clip, I would've laughed my butt off and called him on it. I wouldn't have gotten in the clip, then. A couple of people are only shown once, which probably means they got other answers right. Always be conscious of editing.
