I just love him for telling the truth about this. Enough said. If you agree, why not help him out?

7. Truer words were never spoken.
Edwards is the one candidate who can lead this country and make sure that the truth will come out. Even when the truth is unpleasant, Edwards is willing to face it.

That is what years of working as a trial lawyer does to a person. In some areas of the law, a lawyer can get by with a lie. A trial lawyer, however, cannot lie. It is not that trial lawyers are born more honest than other people. Rather, it is because they learn the hazards of lying in our adversary system of law. Trial lawyers learn early on that you have to get the ugly truth out there before your opponent does. You can use evidentiary objections and motions in limine to exclude bad news, but you may still have to face that humiliating moment when your opposition, through cross-examination or the dramatic presentation of a smoking gun, gets that embarrassing fact before the judge or jury.

Edwards, like other trial lawyers, knows how to deal with unpleasant truths. He faces them squarely. If only Bush had been a trial lawyer. The course of history would have been entirely different.

Although some of the other candidates such as Obama and Hillary are lawyers. None of them has learned the lessons of the trial lawyer. Honesty isn't just the best policy. It is the only realistic policy. Lies come back to bite you. There is no point in telling a lie.

Remember, Abraham Lincoln "Honest Abe," was a trial lawyer. 'Nuff said.

9. Thank you.
I have always admired him for his career as a trial lawyer. After reading his book "Four Trials," how could I not? Trial lawyers have really been treated unfairly in popular culture, but it's largely because they DO take on corporate interests, so the right wingers who cozy up to those corporate interests have tried to demonize them.

Really, most of us aren't very facially expressive in those situations.

into the realm.....NAFTA, The communications act. And if it were not for that witch Hillary, Edwards would be in front. Biden and Dodd are more qualified than she, and Edwards is the populist we need.

And did you listen?

At last, however, one prominent Dem seems to get it. Good for John. Let's see now if the base is ready to wise up, too.

36. Not all other Democrats....
Just those in league with corporations. We've had control of Congress for a year now -- so far nothing has been done about predatory lending practices, and they've allowed the Bush Administration (?????) to get out in front on relief for people who are losing their homes to foreclosure. They've all but surrendered on Health Care and won't even discuss a Living Wage. Impeachment is off the table and we're stuck in Iraq for the forseeable future.

What's changed over the past year?

really listening. This is a great preemptive message and solid branding for Edwards. No wonder he's rising in the polls.

I am so impressed with whoever is managing this.

38. K*R The truth, finally. That's the end of his corporate media coverage.
But maybe the beginning of a victory for the nomination.

He spoke the truth, the unmentionable...the most dangerous thoughts in the United States today.

Can't wait to see how this is pushed. I hope it goes over the net. It's just so powerful.

Thanks for posting this.

40. He's The Only One Of The "Big Three"
who's saying what Americans are feeling. Is he sincere? Can he do the things he says he wants to do if elected? I sure hope so.

"That's the end of his corporate media coverage."
So email the clip to as many people as you can. The corporate media are only interested in getting one of "their own" elected anyway, so it's going to take some massive "new media" and word of mouth to get the message out.

39. I like this message! But Edwards don't live up to it,.
It's his is record! Voted for the war ( co-sponsored the friggin' resolution! ) voted for the 'Patriot' act,. for yukka mountain., he is pro death-penalty etc. He does seem to support many progressive positions on many issues, however he has been dead wrong on many major issues,. and voted that way! He does not mention nuclear energy in his energy platform,. and I don't like that, it needs to be de-funded and phased out,. deadly threat to human life, and money-pit of debt creation for the pirate bankers that it is.

He takes the Israeli position that Iran can never have a Nuke and makes NO MENTION of Americas own WMDs, or how we can decommission them, and ride the world of all nuclear weapons,. He wants to strengthen Homeland Security! in fact this whole page is a bunch crap right out of the neo-con fear creation playbook; http://johnedwards.com/issues/terrorism/
He is a basic CFR puppet on major issues and they let him talk progressive on the small stuff like minimum wage and workers rights,. If he really buys this whole global terror line he is no leader,. It is a load of crap built up by intelligence agencies as a means of creating fear, and conditions favorable to the pirate bankers to continue to run this 'divide the people' and keep them in fear system of control that we live in,. if you want more of this same noise vote for Edwards,. otherwise support a real visionary and proponent of peace and sanity Dennis Kucinich!

and if he were getting the same media coverage as HRC and Obama, he'd be leading HRC and Obama comfortably. ( I know, just my opinion and obviously impossible to prove).
